A renovation of a Landmarked 1852 wood-frame house. Abelow Sherman has maximized the contrast between the truly historic Main House, which has been restored, and the work in the back that has received a more modernist treatment. The flow of the house has been completely rethought, as it was formerly a two-family, now converted to a single-family residence.
