Rafael Herrin-Ferri, AIA
Rafael graduated from the Cornell University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Architecture degree, after studying in Rome and traveling throughout Europe. He worked in San Francisco and in Barcelona, Spain, before settling in New York in 2003. He then was employed by Lynne Breslin Architects, Peter Gluck & Partners, and McKean Architecture before joining Abelow Sherman Architects as a senior project architect in 2013. Mr. Herrin-Ferri has extensive experience in New York townhouses, in addition to other single-and multi-family residential building types. Since joining the firm, Mr. Herrin-Ferri has been focused on the construction of a new construction townhouse; located on the Upper East Side, and a multi-use music building incorporating a recording studio and live performance venue in Brooklyn. Mr. Herrin-Ferri has related experience in the fields of fabrication, construction, and design-build.
