A lower Manhattan loft in a former printer’s shop is distinguished by its Hudson River views and 8-window frontage. By curving the walls around two bedrooms at the middle of the loft, a self-contained volume created defined living and master bedroom spaces to either side. This gesture evolved further becoming an elliptical shape with flush curvilinear opaque doors around the perimeter.
